The Regatta can host 9 teams in the Sun Fast Class, and as we saw in the last edition, these spots were very popular and filled up fast! But sailors can join in the ILCA (former Laser) Class or RS Quest Class as well.
The registration and skipper briefing will kick off on Friday, October 20th, at 5 PM, at Lagoonies, with a free beer or rum punch. A good way to meet the other competitors, share some good stories about the previous editions of the Regatta, and learn more about the following day. Don’t forget, this is also when you’ll need to pay a $100 damage deposit for the Sun Fast fleet.
The following morning, there will be some coffee and sandwiches at Lagoonies to start the day, after when the first teams will take the boats to the start area and the battle will began. A full day of exciting rotating fleet racing, with a well deserved lunch in between. At the end of the day we get back together in the restaurant for prize giving.
