For the first races of the new sailing season, we saw that the competitors were excited to race again after a summer of waiting and preparation. “Everyone was still excited to race despite the rain. The competitors had to face challenging conditions with very shifty winds and sudden squalls coming through” Said Sailing Instructor Xanthe”.

The Soon Series was a success, well planned preparation and teamwork was done to have this racing day set and ready. Sint Maarten Yacht Club would like to encourage the youth and fellow experienced sailors to register, for our next year season.
