Participate in the Next Generation Race – A team-based Dinghy Race during the largest Regatta in the Caribbean – the 44nd St. Maarten Heineken Regatta!
The SMYC would like to showcase their Sailing School and Sailing Program to the participants and visitors of the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta and create a fun and team-oriented regatta for our Sailing School Sailors to participate in.
We are creating 12 teams of 2 sailors and will race against each other in RS Zests.
These 12 teams will race against each other on Saturday March 2nd and Sunday March 3rd 2024.
January 13th team presentation and practice day will take place from 9 till 12 AM.
14 spots are available for participants of the SMYC After School Sailing Program.
Your child can only participate if they can commit to the full program, the 2 racing days and the practice day.
You may tell us your preference – who you would like to sail with – your team-mate – but the Instructors will create teams!
